OMAKASE was born in 2024 in the heart of Taraz, Kazakhstan — from a simple yet audacious idea: what happens when you combine the meticulous artistry of Japanese sushi with the rustic warmth of Italian pizza?
Our founder, Chef Arman, spent five years training in Tokyo's Tsukiji Market and two summers in Naples learning the art of wood-fired dough. When he returned home, he carried two notebooks — one in Japanese, one in Italian — filled with recipes, techniques, and a dream.
Today, OMAKASE is Taraz's premier fusion dining destination. Every dish tells a story of two cultures, united by an obsession with quality ingredients and fearless creativity.
